Arrow Promotes New Global Computing Leader

Arrow Electronics has tapped a new leader for its global computing solutions business.

Arrow's Mark TaylorMark Taylor, a nine-year veteran of the company, will serve as president of OEM Computing Solutions. It’s a step up for Taylor, who formerly led Arrow’s North American enterprise computing solutions business.

Andrew Bryant, Arrow’s COO of global components and enterprise solutions businesses, said Taylor will help accelerate the company’s growth.

“Mark has a proven track record of building strong teams and delivering results,” Bryant said.

OEM Computing Solutions serves markets such as networking and digital signage, focusing on technologies such as embedded solutions and design engineering.{ad}

Ranked 131st in last year’s Fortune 500, Arrow is very much involved in the channel. The electronic component and enterprise computing solutions provider says it is a supply partner for more than 100,000 manufacturers and commercial customers throughout the world.

It has signed numerous distribution agreements this year, including with companies like cybersecurity provider ForeScout and unified communications provider 8×8. It added CenturyLink Cloud a full year ago.
