PRESS RELEASE — AUSTIN, TX–(Marketwired – November 12, 2015) – Artisan Infrastructure, the leading channel-only innovator of cloud infrastructure, cloud management and business continuity solutions, is pleased to announce that it has appointed MSP industry veteran Chris Wiser as its new MSP Channel Chief. Wiser joins Artisan Infrastructure this month following the sale earlier this year of his MSP company TechSquad IT to Chicago-based Waident Technologies.

According to a Goldman Sachs report on cloud computing, spending on cloud infrastructure and platforms is expected to grow at a 30% CAGR through 2018 compared with 5% growth for overall enterprise IT.1 Artisan Infrastructure is uniquely positioned in this space to leverage the cloud infrastructure and services opportunity through its channel ecosystem. To capitalize on this area of growth, Wiser will focus on developing MSPs in the delivery of Artisan Infrastructure’s cloud-based solutions.

“The addition of Chris Wiser to the Artisan Infrastructure team is a natural fit for both parties,” said Brian Hierholzer, CEO of Artisan Infrastructure. “With more than a decade of experience running a successful MSP, coupled with our desire to grow and enhance our products and services in this space, Chris will be chartered with designing and building out our MSP channel with valuable firsthand knowledge of the industry.”

Wiser comes to Artisan Infrastructure at a time when the company is currently experiencing widespread growth within the channel, and is looking to further enhance its MSP channel program. During his watch at TechSquad, Wiser (for three years running) tripled his MSP company’s revenue and added several new employees. During his tenure, he also established a successful subsidiary lead-generation and appointment-setting tool company known as MSP Leads, which accelerated sales growth.

“I am very excited to share the successes I achieved while leading TechSquad with the team at Artisan Infrastructure,” Wiser said. “It is my goal to grow the company’s channel partner program, and increase the number of active MSPs who will benefit from our tailored solutions — designed to help them meet business objectives.”

In addition to his entrepreneurial experience, Wiser is also a best-selling author with titles that include “The Small Business Owner’s Guide to Stress Free Network Support,” and “The Tech Multiplier: The World’s Leading Technology Consultants Reveal In Depth Case Studies of How the Smartest Businesses in the World are Leveraging Technology to Increase Profits and Reduce Waste While Safeguarding Data”. Both books feature proven secrets and strategies on how to realize maximum sales and profits. He was also the subject of a documentary film titled, “The IT Guy,” which was broadcast on a nationally syndicated cable television channel in September 2013.
