Broadview Names US LECs Blackey SVP of Marketing

Broadview Networks has named former US LEC exec Jeff Blackey as senior vice president of marketing.

Blackey will head up marketing for the CLEC, including product development, product management, market management, marketing communications, public relations, sales training, sales operations and channel marketing.

Blackey has more than 20 years experience in the telecom industry and has successfully launched more than 50 products in more than 80 markets nationwide. Prior to joining Broadview Networks, he was senior vice president of marketing and business development at US LEC, which was acquired by PAETEC in spring 2007. Blackey led the organization’s marketing and product management efforts for more than nine years, growing revenue organically, through product development and acquisitions. Prior to US LEC, he served in various marketing, sales and engineering roles at Frontier, RochesterTel and Xerox.

Jeff has a master’s of business administration degree in marketing and finance from the University of Rochester and a bachelor’s of science degree from Clarkson University.
