Channel People on the Move: Intelisys, 8x8, Telarus, More

8x8's John DeLozier
In a story that Channel Partners broke to the channel community, you learned that CenturyLink channel VP John DeLozier was making the move to 8x8 to serve as the UCaaS provider's global channel chief.
“I ‘grew up’ implementing [various companies’] unified communications, collaboration and contact-center solutions all over the world for the biggest names, and all we’re doing now is putting them in the cloud,” DeLozier told Channel Partners. So it’s really what I know, really where I’m from. I couldn’t be more super-excited to go to market again with these solutions [at 8×8].”
He rejoins Bill Corbin, 8x8's senior VP of channels and alliances, who held a similar role at CenturyLink.

Intelisys' Gregory Birch and Joann Amaral
Master-agent Intelisys hired a pair of new channel leaders.
The first is channel manager Gregory Birch, a seven-year CenturyLink veteran, who will work out of the Twin Cities to support Intelisys sales partners in five states. He's been in the channel for 17 years. Learn more about him here.
Also new is Joann Amaral, a partner development manager in the Southwest. She worked at XO Communications/Verizon for nearly 20 years. She developed close ties with Intelisys during that time. Get the full scoop on Amaral here.
RapidScale's Brian Leonard
While Intelisys gained a part of managers, it's losing its director of marketing to RapidScale, where his title will be VP of marketing.
In a Channel Partners exclusive, Brian Leonard told us that RapidScale has a great reputation in the community.
“The feedback was incredible," he said "Everyone spoke highly of the explosive team and solutions RapidScale continues to offer and expand upon.”

Telarus' Nikki Day
Telarus hired Nikki Day as its new senior partner development manager for New England. Her job is to help the master agent's partners expand their practices in UCaaS, SD-WAN, security and contact center.
She has 16 years of tech experience with Comptel Group, Comcast, One Communications (now part of Windstream) and more.

TPx's Stacy Conrad and Mark Steinberg
Alliance of Channel Women president Stacy Conrad left her post as VP of channel sales at Fusion for a job at TPx, where she will be the company's new director of channel sales for the Southeast. She will lead the company's partner growth in that region, where she has deep roots working with master agents.

Also, Mark Steinberg joined TPx as part of the company's rapid expansion from coast to coast.
Steinberg has more than 30 years of experience, with 15 in the channel. PGi and Global Crossing (now part of CenturyLink) are two of his past employers.
He'll represent TPx as a channel manager in the all-important New York City/Connecticut market. Get to know Steinberg.
Broadvoice's Vinit Ahooja and Jenine Whitter
Vinit Ahooja, a former Time Warner Cable exec, is the new VP of operations for Broadvoice, the UC provider. His job will be to scale and optimize the company's "customer success" initiatives and help it continue to grow.
His background also includes stints at Cox Communications and Suddenlink Communications. More on Ahooja here.
Also new at Broadvoice is Jenine Whitter, an expert in "people operations and talent acquisition," who is tasked with focusing on employee experiences and maintaining Broadvoice's family culture.
She has a neurobiology degree from Harvard. Learn more interesting facts about Whitter here.
BCN's Richard Boudria Jr.
Richard Boudria Jr. is now chairman of BCN following the death of his father, Richard Sr.
Boudria Jr., who has been with the company for more than a decade, will serve as both chairman and CEO, the latter role being one he stepped into last year.
"[Boudria Jr.'s] vision for the company will deliver a set of guiding principles designed to maximize the potential of BCN employees and the partner community through which BCN exclusively goes to market,” the company said.

AireSpring's Donald McMahon
Donald McMahon, an XO and Birch vet, is the new channel manager for Texas and the Southwest region at AireSpring.
McMahon most recently was a channel manager at Alpheus Communications. There, he supported the Dallas/Forth Worth area.

Kaseya's CJ Wimley
Kaseya, the IT infrastructure-management provider for MSPs, appointed CJ Wimley to the role of president and chief customer officer. He's tasked with leading a team of "customer success advocates" committed to empowering customers with the tools necessary to "derive maximum value from their Kaseya relationship."
Wimley comes to Kaseya from TeamDynamix, where he was CEO.
365 Data Centers' Tony Franchi
Formerly a senior channel manager at CenturyLink, Tony Franchi is the new senior VP of sales and marketing at 365 Data Centers, where he will develop a new partner program and oversee the existing direct and carrier sales teams.
Franchi has a long history in the channel, with an "impressive track record" from CenturyLink, Global Capacity (now GTT), Level 3 (now CenturyLink), PaeTec (now Windstream) and DSL.net.

Tata Communications' Seema Chiodo
Seema Chiodo (left) will represent Tata Communications in the Americas as it senior channel manager for the West. She'll be based in southern California.
Chiodo has 12 years of experience at the likes of West, Windstream, Mitel and most recently, Evolve IP.
Tata also named Joe Luginski (right) as a channel manager for the company's Central region. He has 30 years in the biz at AT&T, Nortel, CenturyLink and more.
ARRIS' Ian Whiting
Ian Whiting moved up the ladder from chief commercial officer at ARRIS ,the connectivity provider, to president, following the resignation of Dan Rabinovitsj. His extensive background includes jobs at Riverbed and Brocade.
"This is a very exciting time to be at Ruckus as we experience tremendous growth and momentum under ARRIS," Whiting wrote in a blog.
Everstream's Joe Pellegrini
Joe Pellegrini, the new vice president, operations, at Everstream, comes to the network service provider from Crown Castle, where he was senior director of wireless deployment.
Pellegrini has more than 20 years of experience in telecommunications, wireless deployment, construction and management. He will be in charge of organic growth, strategic requirements and additional breadth of services at Everstream.
Atmosera's Ellie Soleymani
Atmosera, the tier-1 Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider, tapped Ellie Soleymani as its new director of marketing. She will focus on implementing strategies that build brand awareness.
Two of her previous jobs were at Mobile Labs and PGi.
Atmosera also named Mark Lipscomb (not pictured) its director of customer success.
Duo Security's Bill Welch
Bill Welch is the president and COO at Duo Security. He has 25 years of experience at such tech giants as HP, Symantec and Oracle.
Welch is charged with advancing the company’s long-term vision and global operations, as well as the strategy and acceleration of Duo’s go-to-market engine as the company continues to rapidly scale and expand internationally.
