Citrix has appointed Craig Stilwell as vice president of worldwide partner strategy and sales to strengthen the company’s commitment to its partners, and their long-term success and profitability.

Citrix's Craig StilwellStilwell has been with Citrix for 17 years and has a long history of sales and channel leadership, having served as vice president of Americas channel sales and field operations. His new position previously was held by Kimberly Martin, who is no longer with Citrix.

Most recently, Stilwell served as area vice president of the U.S. commercial business, responsible for all sales and products in the U.S. commercial segment.

In 2017, Stilwell will focus on three key priorities: leading a partner team focused on the enterprise market and increasing Citrix’s presence in the midmarket; transitioning to the cloud and the channel’s major role in moving from the premises to the cloud; and reducing the complexity of Citrix’s channel programs and making it easier for partners to do business with the company.{ad}

“Many in the partner community already know Craig, who has been with Citrix for more than 17 years and understands our sales and channel strategy very well,” Carlos Sartorius, executive vice president, Worldwide Sales and Services at Citrix, told Channel Partners. “As the new worldwide channel leader, Craig will draw from his extensive sales and channel leadership experience to invigorate our commitment to our partners and their long-term success and profitability.”

At Citrix Summit, Jan. 9-11, in Anaheim, California, Stilwell and Citrix leadership will gather with partners to share news regarding strategy and go-to-market plans for digital business transformation in 2017.
