Coroner Rules Sysix CEOs Death a Suicide

An Illinois coroner’s office has ruled the death of Sysix Technologies CEO, John Sheaffer, a suicide. Last week, the news spread of the VAR’s closing, and there was speculation as to whether Sheaffer’s death was the cause.
Paramedics were called to Sheaffer’s office on July 8, where they found him unresponsive. He later died in a hospital that afternoon.
Employees related they were not surprised by the company’s closing due to recent financial troubles.
