Business software provider Enterworks plans to jump-start its partner program by hiring Kumar Jandayala as its new vice president of solutions and partner management.

Jandayala previously served as director of global solution management and architecture with Hybris and SAP’s customer engagement and commerce group. He brings experience in data and commerce platforms, product and service management, and enterprise architecture.

Warren Jones, Enterworks’ president, tells Channel Partners that the company has been operating a partner program, but “Kumar will be taking it to the next level of a formal program that will include partners across the categories of technology partners, resellers, joint-selling partners and implementation partners.”

“We have less than a dozen partners now, and will continue to favor a reasonable number of active, collaborative partners (as opposed to simply filling up the partner ranks),” he said.

Jandayala, who now is in charge of the Enterworks Partner Program, is connecting with existing partners, pursuing others the company has worked with in the past, and meeting with prospective, new partners.

“Global omnichannel commerce demands that companies provide persuasive content across channels to prompt buyers to act,” Jandayala said. “I am looking forward to accelerating our growth with partners and extending our solutions as customers leverage our seamless omnichannel platform for their own differentiation.”

The partner program is a key element of the company’s growth plans, and the company has financial targets that include partner components, Jones said.

“In some cases we will be sharing revenues with partners under joint agreements, and in other cases Enterworks and the partner will each have separate and distinct revenue streams,” he said.

Enterworks Enable software integrates product information from multiple sources for centralized management, enrichment and distribution in multiple languages to global channels. Its customers include manufacturers, distributors and retailers in business products, digital products, electronics, medical supplies, HVAC/R products, hard lines, hospitality and other industries.
