Equinix Hires Longtime CenturyLink Channel Veteran

Equinix has selected Dale Tucker, previously head of business development for the CenturyLink Channel Alliance, as its senior director of network service provider (NSP) partners.

Equinix's Dale TuckerTucker will focus on deepening relationships with NSPs that are reselling data-center infrastructure in Equinix’s IBXs, and on driving adoption of the Equinix Cloud Exchange, which enables on-demand and private network connectivity to multiple cloud and SaaS providers in major markets around the world.

Tucker tells Channel Partners he wanted to join Equinix to “work for a proven market leader in the data center space that is rapidly evolving into a powerful aggregator of hybrid IT solutions.”

“I look forward to bringing my experience in the NSP space to bear in Equinix’s committed efforts to develop a strong channel ecosystem,” he said.{ad}

Tucker was with CenturyLink Business for nearly 18 years.. He led the business-development organization supporting the telco’s  indirect channels, enabling SIs, BPOs, MSPs, technology vendors, IT distributors/VARs, ISVs, telecom/IT consultants, and referral agents/brokers to market and/or resell the company’s portfolio of cloud, colocation/hosting, network, managed, security and voice services.

Tucker is located in Denver with his team deployed in Washington, D.C.; London; and Singapore.
