Ingram Micro’s executive vice president and chief information officer, Mario Leone, is leaving the company.

Nimesh Dave, Ingram Micro EVP, global business process and cloud computing, will assume responsibility and oversight of the company’s worldwide information and business systems until a successor to Leone is found. Leone will stay on board through March 1 to help with the transition. No reason was given for his departure.

“We thank Mario for his hard work at Ingram Micro over the past four years, during which substantial changes to the company’s information systems have been launched,” said Ingram Micro chief operating and financial officer Bill Humes. “We wish Mario the best in his next endeavor.”

This is just the latest in a series of personnel announcements from Ingram Micro, which earlier this week promoted Kirk Robinson to senior vice president of North America and on Jan. 3 named Bashar Nejdawi as president of Ingram Micro North America Mobility.

Ingram Micro is a provider of IT supply-chain, mobile-device life cycle services and logistics solutions. The company sells through channel partners.
