Integra Telecom Names Sales VP

Integra Telecom Inc. has hired Byron Cantrall as vice president of sales for Integra Telecom of Arizona. In this position, Cantrall is responsible for managing sales productivity, including indirect sales, and expanding the company’s sales footprint throughout its Arizona market. He will be based in Phoenix and report to Robert Smith, senior vice president for Integra Telecom of Arizona.

“I am thrilled to have Byron leading the Arizona sales team. He has tremendous experience, tenure and leadership, and I am confident that he will help Integra gain even greater market share in Arizona,” said Smith. “Byron supports Integra’s mission to lead the telecommunications industry in providing quality, user-friendly service, and I look forward to working with him to further that goal.”

Cantrall has more than 18 years of telecom sales and leadership experience. Prior to joining Integra, he served as the director of sales for Eschelon Telecom, which was acquired by Integra in August of 2007. Additionally, Cantrall previously owned and operated a telephone system integrator company, called ABC Networks Inc. The company, which was based in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., focused on telephone system sales as well as reselling telephone and data services.
