Lumen Technologies Vet Promoted to Regional Vice President
She brings 23 years of experience within the firm to her new role.

Sara Seegers is the new regional vice president of indirect sales and opportunity management at Lumen Technologies. Seegers has worked for the company – which includes CenturyLink and acquired companies Level 3 and Global Crossing – for more than two decades.

Dave Young is senior vice president of strategic sales at Lumen Technologies.
“The success of our indirect sales team is paramount to the growth of our segment and company. We need a fresh sales leader who brings a history of wins, strong sales acumen, a proven ability to leverage partnerships, and experience navigating the complexities of Lumen,” Young said. “In this role, Sara will lead a team focused on building and growing a powerful indirect sales engine.”

Midwest Relationships
Seegers most recently was vice president and general manager for the company’s central enterprise region. In that role, she led a team of six directors and 50 sellers. Her market delivered recurring monthly sales of $500,000 along with a $34 million monthly revenue base.
Lumen’s Dave Young
Seegers brings to Young’s team a vast understanding of selling to enterprise customers, along with experience in driving successful channel integrated deals. She has built strong, trusted relationships with channel partners in the Midwest. She also brings deep knowledge of Lumen’s market segments and has driven sales results in each, Young said.
