Microsoft Rearranges Channel Execs

Microsoft has announced a few personnel changes relevant to the channel.

Michael Park will shift from corporate vice president of U.S. Small to Midmarket Solutions and Partners (SMS&P) division to a new position as the corporate vice president of Microsoft business solutions sales, marketing and operations. Taking the helm at U.S. SMS&P is Phil Sorgen, who is returning to the United States after serving as the president of Microsoft Canada. Taking Sorgen’s Canadian position is Eric Gales, who previously lead Canada’s SMS&P organization.

Birger Steen is coming on board at SMS&P as vice president of worldwide SMB and distribution from Microsoft Russia. Finally, Mix Long will join SMS&P as vice president of SMS&P corporate accounts.
