Mitel Hires New Sales EVP

Mitel has hired Joe Vitalone as its new executive vice president of sales for the Americas.

Vitalone comes to Mitel from ShoreTel, where he most recently served as vice president of channel management. Vitalone has also worked for LifeSize Communications, Polycom, CoVi Technologies, PictureTel, AT&T Wireless, and in a previous role at Mitel.

Vitalone will oversee Mitel’s sales efforts in North America, the Caribbean and Latin America, working with the regions’ channel communities. He will report to Richard McBee, Mitel’s president and CEO.
