Momentum's New Executive To Focus on Channel Program

Jamie Minner will focus on Momentum's channel program, which the company said has grown significantly since its inception 10 months ago.

Momentum, a Birmingham, Ala.-based provider of digital voice services and broadband management, on Thursday named Jamie Minner as VP of sales.

Minner has a decade of strategic business, market and sales planning experience while working for such companies as Cbeyond, Comcast and IP5280.

Minner will focus on Momentum’s channel program, which the company said has grown significantly since its inception 10 months ago. Momentum has relationships with 80 partners.

In another personnel announcement today, Momentum announced hiring Matthew Conroy as its chief financial officer. With nearly a decade of experience in investment banking, investment management and corporate focus, Conroy previously served as vice president with Octavian Advisors, L.P., a New York-based hedge fund.

Momentum offers communications services for homes, small businesses and larger companies. As of 2011, Momentum operated 100,000+ digital voice lines, according to its website.
