New Jersey-based OSG Billing Services, a provider of invoice presentment and payment services, appointed a new chief executive officer this week. Hank Riner will bring his 30 years of experience in marketing and business outsourcing services to OSG.
Riner is charged with guiding the company toward new growth initiatives. Michael Bonagura, board director and founding partner, said Riner is a proven business leader who, together OSG’s strong management team can take the company to the next level.
“This is a tremendous opportunity. I look forward to working with the board and the management team to build upon what has already been accomplished,” Riner said. “OSG Billing Services’ focus on the customer and best-in-class positioning provide a strong foundation for future growth.”
Prior to joining OSG Billing Services, Riner spent three years as the CEO of CoAMS Inc. and was instrumental in the creation of an online tracking tool to help channel marketers analyze their trade spending. Before that, he served as CEO of SourceLink, the fifth-largest direct marketing services provider in North America. There, he designed the first online campaign planner and worked on campaigns for companies including BMW, Sears, Siemens and Bank of America. In 1995, while CEO of UMI, he built and launched ProQuest, the first search engine on the Internet, which won the company the Smithsonian Product of the Year award.
Riner received a B.A. and an M.B.A. in marketing from Temple University.
