SageQuest Launches Agent, Dealer Program
November 14, 2007
SageQuest LLC, a provider of fleet and mobile workforce tracking technologies, recently launched its agent and dealer program.
SageQuest said it hopes to use the agent and dealer program, which began in August, to expand on robust 2007 sales, escalating market share and increasing interest in GPS fleet technologies.
After spending time researching the marketplace, we realized the tremendous potential and the importance of developing a top tier program for agents and dealers, said Dave Lowman, SageQuest executive vice president and CFO. Establishing a nationwide network of agents and dealers will broaden our reach in the market and generate more opportunities for the industry and for SageQuest.
As part of the program launch, the company hired Terry Leiby and David Evans as West and East Coast channel managers for the program. Leiby joins the company from MicroTRAKgps, where he launched a channel program as vice president of national distribution. He previously led the development of an indirect channel for @Road Inc. Evans was most recently with @Road as indirect channel sales manager, where he was responsible for United States and Canadian territory.
Dave and Terry have already rekindled many long-standing relationships, and marketing efforts are identifying more opportunities for new relationships, said national account manager Dale Braun. Agents recognize the potential of the industry, and were excited to build a strong agent program.
SageQuest has rolled out an incentive and bonus program to help agents grow their business with upfront commissions and recurring revenue streams, and new agents and dealers are regularly being added to the team.
