Spectrum Enterprise’s Brian Snortheim

Spectrum Enterprise announced Thursday that Snortheim is joining their team as director of enterprise channel sales. He’ll lead the company’s Southeast channel sales force.

“Brian will be an integral member of the channel leadership team and will help bolster the team’s position as a winning sales organization across the nation,” the company said.

He joins after a stint at Avaya, where he helped the UCaaS company develop its partner program. His role leading agent channel marketing put him in charge of bringing the vendor’s cloud-first message to master agencies and distributors like Jenne and Telarus.

But Snortheim’s most formative career experience was his 15-year tenure with Time Warner Cable Business Class. He wore a variety of hats over the years but spent nine years as the national director of indirect channel marketing. He interacted with agents, resellers and referral partners during that period.

Here’s our list of channel people on the move in February.

Spectrum Enterprise is a subsidiary of Charter Communications, which acquired Time Warner Cable in 2016. The cable giant brought together TWC and Bright House Networks for a combined $71 million. Snortheim left TWC later that year.

He is well known to the Channel Partners crew, having served as its vice president of sales from 2016 to 2018. He has also served on the Channel Partners Advisory Board.

Spectrum earlier this month unveiled its new SD-WAN service. The platform utilizes the company’s fiber network, which has been an area of success for Spectrum.
