Telit Wireless Solutions Inc.  has named Michael Wagner as its new director of channel sales for the Americas.

Telit makes GSM, CDMA and other modules so machines and vehicles can communicate over cellular wireless networks.

Wagner has more than 30 years experience in the microelectronics products market. He most recently worked as director of marketing and sales for manufacturer White Electronic Designs Inc. His previous work with telecom companies will help Telit strengthen its presence in North America, said Roger Dewey, president and CEO of Telit.

We are relying on him to lead our sales representative team into important markets not presently served, Dewey said in a press release.

Telit is a publicly traded company with offices in Italy, North Carolina and Korea. It holds partnership agreements with distributors Symmetry Electronics and Janus Remote Communications, as well as sales representatives Cain Technologies in Southern California, SPI in Eastern Canada, and Everest Sales in Mexico.
