XO Snags Zayo's Acosta as Partner Manager

XO Communications Inc. announced Wednesday that it has hired Eddie Acosta as a partner business development manager in the Central Region.

Acosta joins XO from Zayo Group, where he served as indirect sales manager, managing relationships with partners such as Telarus, Intelisys, PlanetOne, TBI, Avant, CDW, ARG, GCN and others.  He was voted a Top 15 Channel Manager in 2012 by Channel Partners readers.

Previously, Acosta held the same role for two and half years at AboveNet, which was acquired by Zayo in summer 2012.   While at AboveNet, Acosta also was a senior national accounts manager for two and half years. Prior to that he worked for Savvis Inc. and Logix Communications.
