Continuum Adds New Position, Hires Nicholas Bruno
RMM provider Continuum has appointed Nicholas Bruno to CISO, a new position at the company.
Remote monitoring and management platform (RMM) provider Continuum has appointed Nicholas Bruno to chief information security officer (CISO), a new position at the company.
To address increasing demands in information security and IT risk management, Continuum decided to add the CISO position, the company said, noting that Bruno will be in charge of developing a new portfolio of information security products and services.
“Information security continues as one of the top concerns in IT, and we are fortunate to have Nick join our team to ensure our partners have the latest, cutting-edge security tools at the ready for their customers,” Continuum Global Service Delivery SVP Rob Autor said in a prepared statement.
Before Continuum, Bruno was IT security officer at Pegasystems, a software provider, where he was in charge of developing and implementing the company’s information security and IT risk management strategy.
Prior to Pegasystems, Bruno was head of information security and risk management for EMD Millipore, the Chemicals Division of Merck KGaA, which acquired Millipore Corporation. Early in his career, Bruno held IT security-related positions at Boston Communications Group, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts and H&R Block Mortgage Corporation.
A company spokesperson said Bruno “has already begun working with channel partners one-on-one, his specialty over the years,” adding that “he has developed strong customer relationships that will carry over to our MSP partners as well.”
Continuum added a new member to its board of directors back in October to bring telecom industry experience to the company.
But, most importantly, the channel may see some upcoming big moves from the RMM provider.
