Intronis is forming  what it calls a strategic technical alliance with Continuum to integrate its cloud-based backup into the remote monitoring and management (RMM) company's platform for managed services providers (MSPs).

Both companies said MSPs will experience an increase in productivity and operational insight as a result of the integration.

Intronis Sales Vice President Rob Merklinger said this is the company's first integration with Continuum.

"Continuum is a channel-friendly RMM, a leader within the market," he said. "Most importantly, our partners and theirs have been asking for this integration and functionality."

Merklinger said the integration is assisting MSPs with streamlining their monitoring and management efforts.

"We’re making this possible with a single log in, more IT automation and consolidated dash view," he said. "The integration is also very simple to set up – which is a big plus for our mutual partners – and there’s no costs involved."

Continuum Product Management and Technical Services Vice President Dee Zepf told MSPmentor in an interview that the RMM platform provider has partnered with five backup vendors and will "continually meet with and evaluate other backup providers."

Merklinger noted that Intronis has already partnered with other RMM platforms, including N-able, Kaseya, AVG (AVG) and GFI Max.

"Our alliance partners are a very important part of our growth strategy and partner value promise," he said. "We’re always looking for ways take our integration efforts deeper and wider."

The new integration is now available to mutual Intronis and Continuum partners. Partners interested in the integration can contact Intronis support for API credentials.
