Kaseya Adds IAM, Mobility Capabilities to RMM Software
Kaseya has announced the general availability of Release 9.1. What does the new release offer managed service providers (MSPs)? Here's everything you need to know.
Kaseya is offering managed service providers (MSPs) new identity and access management (IAM), mobility and cloud application management capabilities as part of its new release.
The Waltham, Massachusetts-based remote monitoring and management (RMM) software provider this week announced the general availability of Release 9.1, a new version of its Virtual System Administrator (VSA) IT management solution.
So what should MSPs expect from Release 9.1? Kaseya noted that the most recent version of its RMM software features:
Additional configurable security settings and customer management capabilities for Kaseya Enterprise and Mobility Management (EMM)
Integration between Kaseya AuthAnvil IAM and Kaseya VSA Cloud, delivering multi-factor authentication (MFA) as part of the VSA Cloud login
New Kaseya 365 Command dashboards
Windows 10 beta support and performance improvements
In addition, Kaseya CEO Yogesh Gupta pointed out that Release 9.1 highlights his company’s consistent product release schedule, which includes three releases per year.
“At Kaseya our goal is to provide the technology that will help make our customers successful, and timing is everything,” Gupta said in a prepared statement. “Through our consistent release schedule, our customers know exactly when to anticipate the next Kaseya product release, helping them to implement the technology in a timely fashion to drive results for their business.”
Loren Jarrett, Kaseya’s chief marketing officer, told MSPmentor that her company will continue to invest in its VSA product as well.
In addition, Jarrett noted that Kaseya expects its Project Helios platform-as-a-service (PaaS) to go into private beta later this month.
Kaseya unveiled Project Helios at Kaseya Connect 2015 in April. Jarrett said the PaaS “will offer a new paradigm for IT management with a consumer-like [user interface], app-based paradigm and simplified IT management workflows.”
