Kaseya Platform Product Tour: Here's a Closer Look With Screenshots
The Kaseya Connect conference is giving managed service providers (MSPs) a chance to explore the remote monitoring and management (RMM) company platform. But if you couldn't make it there, we did the leg work for you. Here's a product tour, with screenshots, of what Kaseya's platform offers MSPs and IT service providers.
Kaseya is hosting its Kaseya Connect conference in Orlando, Florida this week, which gives managed service providers (MSPs) plenty of opportunities to explore this company's remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform. Want to learn more about Kaseya 9, the most recent version of the company's RMM platform? Here are six screenshots that highlight some of the platform's features.
Kaseya Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) is available either a la carte or as part of the overall Kaseya R9 package. It is priced at $1 per user per month and helps MSPs simplify their workflows, according to Kaseya Vice President of Enterprise Mobility Mads Srinivasan. "With just a few clicks, MSPs can onboard customers and customers' employees," Srinivasan told MSPmentor. "And the simple pricing is definitely a good thing, too."
Kaseya said its Remote Control delivers a "remote access and remote control solution even behind firewalls or from machines at home." Remote Control saves MSPs approximately 2.5 million sessions and 20 million hours each month, Kaseya CEO Yogesh Gupta said.
Kaseya acquired cloud application management tool 365 Command in 2013. And now, MSPs can offer 365 Command to help customers manage their Microsoft Office 365 application suite. "Most MSPs typically charge between $2 to $3 per month for Command 365, but it only costs an MSP about 25 cents. It's very economical," said Steve Hall, Kaseya's director of product management.
Kaseya Virtual System Administrator (VSA) represents Kaseya's core product, according to Gupta. It is available in the cloud and on-premise; however, Kaseya is not forcing its on-premise customers to move to the cloud. In addition, Gupta announced that a VSA sandbox license is now available that enables MSPs to test both versions of the platform for free.
Kaseya Monitoring and Discovery enables MSPs to locate network devices and computers on a customer's network and categorize them accordingly, without requiring any credentials to the end devices. It also allows service providers to pull in machines and users registered on a customer's domain to provide a complete view of a network.
AuthAnvil for Kaseya delivers two-factor authentication on a Kaseya login itself, according to Kaseya Associate Curriculum Manager Michael Racine. It makes it easier for MSPs to manage customers' passwords, Racine said, and ensures customers can enjoy single sign-on (SSO), aka one-click access, for their accounts as well. "We don't like passwords, but with two-factor authentication and single-sign on, people can log into their accounts in the morning and stay logged in all day," he added.
