Naverisk Integrates With TeamViewer, ScreenConnect in 2014 R2 Release
Naverisk this week released Naverisk 2014 R2, a new version of its remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform. What should managed service providers (MSPs) expect from the new release? Here are the details.
Auckland, New Zealand-based remote monitoring and management (RMM) software provider Naverisk this week unveiled TeamViewer and ScreenConnect remote control integrations as part of Naverisk 2014 R2, the new version of its RMM platform.
Naverisk noted both of these integrations provide users with one-click access and auto discovery of any existing TeamViewer or ScreenConnect installations on their managed devices.
The new version of the Naverisk RMM platform, meanwhile, also includes a network probe feature to fast track customer on-boarding, enhanced native remote control capabilities and professional services automation (PSA) integration improvements.
“R2 is another pivotal release for our partners. The improvements in our platform are vast, and this is another very strong step towards our vision of offering the most complete, fit-for-purpose, unified RMM and Service Desk platform for managed service providers (MSPs),” Naverisk CEO Jon Kalaugher said in a prepared statement.
Other Naverisk 2014 R2 features include:
Device application process management capabilities
More granular configuration settings
Patching automation upgrades
Remote control health monitoring
Task manager upgrades
Naverisk has incorporated several RMM and Service Desk reporting upgrades into its most recent release too, such as:
Backup reporting improvements
Customized reporting capabilities
The ability to save report views
Naverisk previously updated its RMM platform in August, adding a new cloud service management console, two-factor authentication and single sign-on (SSO) capabilities and the Naverisk Help Centre as part of its Naverisk 2014 R1 release.
Kalaugher noted Naverisk will continue to upgrade its RMM platform and is already planning for its 2015 R1 release.
“We are already well underway with our 2015 R1 release and look forward to continuing to deliver on our product and support quality promises to our partners,” he said.
