Professional services automation software vendor Promys recently completed Web API integration with LogicMonitor, giving users the ability to add new integration tools to the company’s performance monitoring solution.

Promys said the Web API integration with LogicMonitor’s performance monitoring solution will provide users with a more configurable toolset for their PSA software, without the constraints normally associated with custom integrations. The company previously completed a custom integration with LogicMonitor for a Cisco Gold Partner prior to the release of its HTML5 version of Promys Enterprise PSA, said David Donnelly, vice president of Development at Promys.

“The nice thing about the Web API integration approach is that our customers can use the LogicMonitor built-in sys admin tools to create a customer specific integration data set and Promys can leverage our Web API tools to integrate that data set with no customization,” said Donnelly, in a statement. “We’ll be working with our customers to take advantage of some of the more interesting capabilities that the Web API integration approach supports.”

Donnelly said Promys will support several features as part of the initial LogicMonitor integration, including alert, alert message, company, device name and batch job status. Additional features will be added down the line.

“In addition to making it faster and easier to integrate with other 3rd party applications, the real opportunity for Promys’ customers, is that Promys Enterprise PSA will make it much easier to share information with their customers,” said John Breakey, CEO of Promys. “That will add value to those relationships.”
