TeamViewer Updates QuickSupport App: Here's What You Need to Know
TeamViewer has updated its QuickSupport mobile application to make technical remote support to Android devices from any Windows computer faster and more efficient, according to the company. Here's everything you need to know.
TeamViewer has updated its QuickSupport mobile application to provide service technicians with the ability to offer faster, more efficient remote support to Android devices from any Windows computer.
The remote access software provider has unveiled a new version of QuickSupport that ensures service techs can connect to mobile devices up to three times faster than before.
TeamViewer noted that QuickSupport now features smart quality settings that adjust speed and quality settings automatically to deliver the best possible remote control experience.
In addition, TeamViewer said the new version of QuickSupport offers:
Remote support window with device frame that is embedded into the dashboard, providing both managed service providers (MSPs) and their customers with greater visibility
Screen sharing for all Android 5.0 devices, including Google Nexus
User interface that allows service techs to launch remote control sessions of mobile devices without delays or interference and automatically minimizes when a remote support session commences
The new version of QuickSupport is available for all Android mobile devices.
TeamViewer provides online communication, collaboration and remote monitoring software for MSPs, and the company continues to explore new ways to support service providers as well.
For example, TeamViewer last month launched the TeamViewer App for Outlook, which enables sales professionals, service techs and other TeamViewer users to establish a direct connection to other TeamViewer contacts in Microsoft Outlook.
TeamViewer App for Outlook works with Windows and Mac OS X to deliver efficient communication through instantaneous feedback, TeamViewer said, because it allows Outlook users to connect with their email recipients or senders without switching from one application to another.
