Tigerpaw Software has announced that remote monitoring and management (RMM) software provider AVG Technologies (AVG) is offering a Service Desk Connector to integrate into the Tigerpaw 15R1 professional services automation (PSA) platform.

The AVG Service Desk Connector “enables the seamless combination of Tigerpaw’s business automation platform and the AVG Business RMM platform to deliver desktop management, network and server management, backup and storage, remote control and security,” according to Tigerpaw. In addition, Tigerpaw said the Connector syncs the flow of customer data in both directions between AVG and Tigerpaw.

So what does the addition of AVG’s Service Desk Connector to Tigerpaw mean for managed service providers (MSPs)?

Tigerpaw noted that its partners can now access a closed-loop system from AVG and Tigerpaw that shares alerts, ticketing and asset polling from a single integrated system. Also, Tigerpaw said its automated billing and payment-processing capabilities allow partners to manage service agreements from the creation of tickets to payment collection.

“We have a number of third-party partners currently developing Web Service APIs for our platform, and service providers can expect a litany of new integrations to be announced in 2015,” Tigerpaw President James Foxall said in a prepared statement.
