Zenith Infotech: We're Staying In the NOC, RMM Business
During recent channel partner conferences, several MSPs told me they heard a rumor that Zenith Infotech is getting out of the NOC (Network Operations Center) business and/or the RMM (remote monitoring and management) business. I reached out to Zenith for comment and the company dismissed the rumors, stating that they’re firmly committed to VARs and MSPs that depend on the company’s NOC and RMM solutions. Here’s the update.
In an email to MSPmentor, Zenith Infotech CEO Akash Saraf stated:
“We know the vendor spreading this rumor. Just to set the record straight Zenith is by far the biggest vendor that is 100% MSP. Our revenues from the North America MSP channel are close to $73mn between our RMM and cloud/backup product lines. Our RMM business alone is probably bigger than 3-4 of our competitors combined. Hence the question of getting out does not arise.”
Added Zenith Infotech Senior VP Maurice Saluan:
“Zenith’s NOC service is still growing, we are managing over 500,000 devices for our partner base and it’s a $30mn+ business for Zenith. We won’t just abruptly shut down a $30mn+ business.”
To be clear: MSPmentor does not know the original source of the rumors about Zenith potentially leaving the NOC and RMM markets. We heard the rumor from three separate MSPs rather than vendors. And now, Saraf and Saluan have killed the rumors.
