50 Apple Tablets Detected... At Apple?

One day before Apple’s alleged Tablet launch here’s a rather interesting tidbit that may prove the devices really exist: Analytical company Flurry Analytics has detected about 50 alleged Apple Tablets inside the Apple campus. Here’s what’ they’re saying…

Over at the CNNMoney.com blogs is where this story originated, which makes one want to lend some credence to the story, but with all the rumors floating about, no one can be sure.

But Flurry Analytics seem pretty sure of themselves, making a few bold claims about the product, right down to the very operating system they’re running. Apparently, applications running on the device tend to reveal what device they’re running on (similar to the way weblogs reveal the OS of the user.) Based on all the data Flurry has gathered, they’re fairly confident about the following findings:

And while these claims are nothing new, it seems like they’re merely not ‘big’ enough. For Steve Jobs to personally say he’s “excited” and that it’s “the most important thing I’ve ever done.”

The Tablet has to be ‘bigger’ than a big iPhone. It has to be more than a Kindle with a color screen and and iPod strapped to it. Apple knows that, and I don’t think they’ll disappoint.

With less than a day away from the January 27 announcement, funky things are leaking onto the net, most notably some very hoax-y looking pictures. The above picture was one that caught the eye of MacRumors, along with another picture that depicts the device with a white back and two home buttons.

Both of them, while nifty looking, don’t seem to have the Apple “polish” you’d come to expect. As snazzy as these devices (real or fake, or photoshoped) look, whatever Apple puts out is going to be world’s sexier.
