Happy Thursday, and welcome to this week’s Channel Partner Program Roundup, our weekly collection of channel partner program news without the fluff. This week we’ve got news from Tarmin, AMD (NYSE: AMD) and Eversync, so let’s get to it.Tarmin: The cloud-optimized data management and storage technologies vendor has launched the Tarmin OverDrive Program (TOP) to provide resellers with the opportunity to help customers manage their geographically dispersed data, lower costs, achieve compliance and gain insights from their information, according to the company.
TOP partners receive a dedicated channel representative, co-marketing activities and market development funds, intensive training, pre- and post-sales technical resources and support, and prequalified leads to help maximize business opportunities.
Resellers interested in partnering with Tarmin as part of TOP can contact the company.
AMD: The chip maker announced the recipients of its North American Commercial Channel Partner Awards during its recent AMD North American Executive Commercial Channel Summit in San Francisco.
The 2012 North American Commercial Channel Partner Award winners are:
VAR of the Year 2011 – SHI
Commercial Distributor of the Year 2011 – Synnex
DMR of the Year 2011 – PC Connection
Regional OEM of the Year 2011 – Penguin Computing
AMD partners were evaluated based on a combination of performance, strategic focus and engagement, according to AMD. This year’s winning channel partners, the company noted, went above and beyond the criteria developing innovative technical solutions using AMD technologies.
Eversync: The 100 percent channel-focused developer of total data protection solutions announced a new partner program, the Eversync Partner Program, designed to offer more robust selling and marketing tools with powerful incentives for the channel.
The program provides three tiers — Gold, Platinum and Diamond — to reward partners at every level. As partners move from one tier to the next, their rewards and access to benefits increase, based on their new status within the program. Eversync also offers two complimentary service programs for channel partners interested in additional revenue streams from services.
Benefits of the Eversync partner program include:
Gross margin opportunities
Demonstration equipment
Market Development Funds (MDF) for joint marketing efforts
