Ingram Micro Acquires Computacenter Distribution

Ingram Micro has acquired UK player CCD (Computacenter Distribution) in an effort to expand its international data center capabilities. CCD is a wholesaler of servers, storage and other tech in the UK. The completion of the acquisition is slated for early November. No terms were disclosed.

Greg Spierkel, Ingram Micro’s CEO, stated that the acquisition showed commitment to European markets, noting that “CCD is the leading distributor of mid-tier enterprise products in the important UK market…”

Elsewhere, Ingram Micro is hosting the Ingram Micro VentureTech Network conference in Denver, Colo., this week. Chatter at the event includes a free limited offer for Global NOC services from Ingram Micro Seismic, tbe master MSP.
