In case you haven’t heard, The VAR Guy is rumored to be in Orlando, Florida, this week — driving recklessly in a mad race to visit all of the Disney World theme parks. It’s a week of magic, but there seems to be something missing. Ah, here it is: A list of the top four rides that Disney World eliminated — but needs to bring back.
Here’s the countdown.
4. Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride: This one died in September 1998, but a statue of Toad can be found in a pet cemetery outside the Haunted Mansion.
3. Skyway to Fantasyland: A lame ride with great views. The ultimate aerial perspective of the Magic Kingdom are gone forever.
2. ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter: Somebody’s mother in law died every time. But the ride itself finally died on Oct. 11, 2003.
1. 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea: Closed around 1995. Captain Nemo needs to surface again.
