Telecom services provider AireSpring this week launched its take on cloud-hosted IP PBX, as well as a new MPLS VPN service.

The first product, AirePBX, is a hardware-free PBX for business customers nationwide. The only gear necessary is IP phones since AireSpring provisions AirePBX over its IP network. That approach lets AireSpring control call quality, too. AirePBX features include free local, interoffice calling; optional unlimited long-distance; auto attendant; advanced call routing; find-me/follow-me; caller ID; call forwarding, parking, recording and transfer; conferencing; and virtual extensions.

Because our next-generation voice network is all-IP from the customer premise, we can easily convert a customers connection from T1/PRI, analog or SIP trunking to hosted PBX seats without requiring a new installation,” said AireSpring COO Daniel Lonstein. We like to call our voice services future-proof.”

In that vein, AireSpring also announced its Mesh MPLS VPN service, which connects multiple locations on a secure corporate network over multiple carriers. Enterprises can use more than one carrier and connect those services through AireSprings managed mesh network technology.

This allows a customer to utilize the least-cost carrier for each of their locations without being forced to use the same carrier throughout their network,” said Lonstein. Our analysis shows that this can result in overall network savings of up to 50 percent over traditional implementations.”

The MPLS VPN provides the same level of security as traditional WAN services, AireSpring said. Its also compatible with AireSprings Voice-over-MPLS product and hosted PBX and SIP trunking.

AireSpring unveiled its new products at this weeks Channel Partners Conference & Expo in Las Vegas.
