Nitel’s Taylor Castranova

Taylor Castranova now serves as vice president of channel sales and account development for the Chicago-based managed telecommunication services provider. Nitel says she will lead its account development for partners and customers and build partner-enablement programs. Her appointment comes a few months after Nitel hired former Windstream channel chief Jason Dishon to lead its sales and marketing.

“Our move to a channel-first sales approach has resulted in record results and a pipeline of opportunity for us and our channel partners,” said Rick Stern, CEO, Nitel. “The market’s appetite for SD-WAN and secure, anytime anywhere connectivity is growing, elevating the channel partners’ role as a strategic business IT adviser and opening the opportunity up for more collaborative and consultative selling.”

Nitel launched SD-WAN services with Versa Networks earlier this year.

Castranova worked at PaeTec/Windstream from 2007 to 2017, beginning as a customer account manager and ending as vice president of channel account management. She also worked for US LEC and Webb Mason in account management. Nitel says she has a strong résumé in channel sales and marketing.

“We are thrilled Taylor is joining Nitel’s channel sales and marketing organization,” said Dishon. “Her career success is proven throughout the agent community, and Taylor’s focus on building meaningful business relationships will prove invaluable as we continue to expand our reach and relevance within the channel and the broader telecom industry.”
