Managed services provider Appia Communications Inc. said on Monday its bought Voxitas, a VoIP and MPLS networking services company.

Appia also has expanded its hours and staff, which means the companys VARs, interconnects and agents have more access to support resources.

Appia is headquartered in Traverse City, Mich., but further operates in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Indianapolis, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle, St. Louis and Washington D.C. Voxitas is based in St. Louis, Mo.
