Broadview Announces SIP Trunking

Broadview Networks has released Broadspeed SIP trunking, which offers a direct SIP interface into customer’s IP PBX.

The offering provides a full 1.5mbps per IP port, with multiple bonded circuits available for higher bandwidth options. Plans start with as few as six SIP trunks with growth of up to 70 or more. There is also an optional G.729 codec for most efficient use of bandwidth.

Ethernet access speeds are available up to 30mbps. As for pricing, there is a measured rate available as well as various Minutes of Use Allowance plans.

Broadview is guaranteeing voice quality with SLAs for network availability, round-trip latency, packet delivery and jitter. Voice traffic always is given the highest priority Class of Service across Broadview’s MPLS backbone, the company said.

SIP trunking allows dynamically allocated voice and Internet access in real-time over the course of the business day. Customers can add optional “Frontline” MPLS services for up to three additional MPLS Classes of Service for other IP applications.
