In response to demand from its VARs, Broadvox announced Wednesday at the Broadvox Partner Summit in Dallas, that it would add Web hosting and Internet security services under a new GO!Services banner.

GO!Services includes business Web hosting (virtual private servers), faxing, e-mail management, Web security and PC security. A cloud computing offer is planned for 2011.

The announcement follows news that the SIP trunking service provider also is getting into the hosted IP PBX business with its new GO!Hosted service.

David Byrd, Broadvox’s vice president of sales and marketing, explained that the company’s indirect sales partners were looking for a single source for both access and Web services in an effort to consolidate vendors and billing. Partners earn a residual commission on services sold.

“GO!Services enhances our product offering by meeting the requirements of customers who want to expand and make use of Internet technology, but do not have the resources to do so,” said Rick Campbell, director of sales at Intorrent Technologies, a Broadvox sales partner, in a prepared statement. “Over the past several years Broadvox has researched and developed products to meet the business communications needs of SMBs and enterprises and GO!Services fits well because it delivers a host of e-commerce and business productivity and security tools.”

In preparation for the offer, Byrd said Broadvox has expanded the number of servers in its data centers in Dallas, Los Angeles and New York.
