PRESS RELEASE — STAMFORD, Conn., Jan. 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — Spectrum Business Enterprise Solutions (enterprise.spectrum.com), the enterprise business services of Charter Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: CHTR), today announced the company has achieved the Metro Ethernet Forum’s (MEF) Carrier Ethernet 2.0 (CE 2.0) certification.

The MEF Carrier Ethernet 2.0 Service Certification Program is the framework through which service providers can demonstrate compliance with globally-recognized MEF Carrier Ethernet standards. Carriers that have achieved CE 2.0 certification are recognized for their ability to deliver Ethernet services with five key attributes: Standardization, Scalability, Reliability, Quality of Service and Service Management.

Spectrum Business Enterprise Solutions has nearly 100 Carrier Ethernet Certified Professionals (MEF-CECP), which is an expert-level certification offered by the Metro Ethernet Forum to individuals. The CECP is the first network professional certification that is vendor-neutral and recognizes the professionals who have passed rigorous certification and acquired the key competency and skills to design, market, deploy and support Carrier Ethernet equipment, networks, and services that represent the next generation of telecommunications technology. Spectrum Business is ranked as one of the top five service providers globally as it relates to the number of MEF CECP certified professionals.{ad}
