Cox CEO to Retire

Jimmy Hayes, CEO of Cox Enterprise Inc., will retire next April after 33 years at the company.
Cox made the announcement on Tuesday and released the executive lineup it plans to institute upon Hayes’ departure.
Hayes has led Cox and its subsidiaries since 2008 and will remain on the board of directors. John Dyer will success Hayes once Hayers retires in a year. Before that, Dyer will take over as COO on May 1. He has worked as executive vice president and CFO since 2008.
Dyer’s successor will be Douglas Franklin. Right now, he’s president of Cox Media Group.
