Cox Communications will acquire EasyTEL Communications, a voice, data and video service provider in Tulsa, Okla.

Cox says the purchase gives it a deeper metropolitan fiber network that allows it to provide businesses in the Tulsa area with technological solutions. Once the transaction closes, Cox Business will establish a network in the Tulsa market that covers approximately 95,000 fiber route miles and connects more than 21,000 on-net buildings while serving customers in all industries regardless of size.

The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and closing conditions; financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
