Fortinet Bulks Up UTM Line With Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Other Capabilities

Fortinet has added 10 products to its unified threat management (UTM) line.
Depending on the model, the hardware features Ethernet switching, intended to cut down on hardware and operations costs; Power over Ethernet injectors so users may attach Fortinet access points, IP phones and IP cameras; Wi-Fi controllers; and additional storage. The new equipment targets midsize and distributed enterprises, as well as branch offices, retail locations and small businesses.
The FortiGate-2400D, 200D, 140D, 140D-PoE, 140D-PoE-T1, 100D, 90D, 30D, FortiWiFi-90D and FortiWiFi-30D are available now. Fortinet sells through channel partners.
