IP Centrex and hosted PBX service provider GLOBALINX (Booth 615), a wholly owned subsidiary of 5Linx Enterprises Inc., a Channel Partners Conference & Expo sponsor, will switch to its own network to offer its VoIP users a robust, scalable platform for both residential and commercial needs.

The company, which had been a reseller, says moving to what it calls Enhanced Network is the key to providing new features and functionality as well as unlimited worldwide calling at a very competitive cost.

GLOBALINX says residential customers will continue to receive all of their basic calling features such as caller ID, call

waiting and voice mail. With the new network, however, business and residential customers alike will get additional features such as out-of-service forwarding, click-to-call from a Web portal, and the ability to make calls directly from their address book via Outlook integration.

The switch to the enhanced network lets commercial customers choose from a hosted PBX, IP Centrex or SIP trunking solution deployed on a carrier-class, fully redundant network.
