ITEXPO: VoIP Logic Adds Provisioning API to Middleware Platform
January 24, 2008
Managed services provider VoIP Logic LLC has introduced a new Web services API to allow service providers to more easily integrate with the Cortex System Management Portal.
This is a first API for VoIP Logic, and it will enable provider integration with the provisioning and management of their end-user feature sets, phone services, emergency services, messaging and billing. It also lets service providers use branded Cortex Web portals or integrate directly into their own Web sites.
Specifically, the new APIs enable the following ways to access and utilize information from a growing list of subsystems that include Sylantro, Iperia, and High Deal: Provision an end-user across all systems; access end user functionality across multiple systems and Cortex; look up all types of entities; and change and delete entities.
Cortex, VoIP Logics VoIP integration middleware, empowers VoIP Service Providers to provision and customize service offerings on best-of-breed systems, and, as such, provide their end-users with a single point of self-care.
This new API significantly broadens Cortexs appeal in the VoIP middleware market. We can now offer VoIP Service Providers a highly functional tool-box of options as they launch and manage customers, said VoIP Logic CEO, Micah Singer. Cortex is able to simplify and reduce the expense of VoIP rollouts for carriers and service providers who have opted for best-of-breed VoIP technologies.
