Juniper Networks is rolling out something new to help MSPs better deliver on-demand cloud services.
The company announced Juniper Networks Cloud-Enabled Branch, an offering expected to help create and automate the process of delivering branch-office networking. The suite comes as part of the company’s enterprise cloud architecture, Juniper Networks Unite.
“As part of the Juniper Networks Unite architecture, this new milestone furthers our goal to modernize enterprise environments with simple, automated and secure solutions through the power of the cloud,” said Jennifer Blatnik, Juniper Networks’ vice president of cloud, security and enterprise portfolio marketing.
Juniper has touted the cloud-enabled branch as something that will improve enterprise operations via software automation and third-party services. The new solution also is said to bring to the table SD-WAN functionality to Juniper’s customers and MSPs.
“As business opportunities arise, enterprises need to expand their domestic and global footprints to fuel new growth,” Blatnik said. “With the introduction of Juniper Networks Cloud-Enabled Branch, customers can now create branches on-demand to accelerate service deployments or instantly apply business updates and security policies consistently across locations.”{ad}
Bart Giordano, who leads worldwide strategic sales for Brocade’s wireless business unit, said there is a growing demand for a quick and secure way for an enterprise to “spin up new branch locations.”
“We believe open partner ecosystems deliver the best choice for customers as they adapt their networks to meet the demands of today’s era of digital transformation. We look forward to continuing to work with Juniper Networks to deliver high performance, simple, and automated wireless LAN solutions that enable our joint customers to deploy and utilize the high-bandwidth applications and services they demand,” he said.
Channel Partners spoke to Juniper’s vice president of global channel in April for a long-ranging interview about security and the future of Juniper’s partner program.
