Main channel goal: My main channel goal is to continue to educate the market with respect to Nitels unique product offering. There was a time when we could refer to Nitel as the best kept secret in telecom. That is not the case anymore. The word is definitely out that when it comes to Internet, MPLS and private line connectivity in Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets, Nitel is the provider of choice.

That being said, I feel it is important to continue to nurture new relationships. There are really only three ways to grow revenue: sell more to existing clients, create larger margins within existing accounts and attract new partners and customers. The last of these is certainly the most powerful, and the sharing of winning strategies and ideas is probably the best way to attract quality partners.”

Biggest challenge: The biggest challenge I face, and perhaps this is true for all of us, is the status quo. All things being considered, people are simply reluctant to make changes.  There is a comfort in familiarity. 

I feel one of the best ways to address this inertia is to creatively and consistently deliver messages that elicit change Join the new status quo, take advantage of this unique opportunity, share in the success that others are experiencing. Of course, it is important to be speaking from a platform that is backed by a solid product set as well as strong customer service and support. For me, Nitel has been that platform. I am continually impressed by the positive feedback I receive from my customers and partners when it comes to their Nitel experience.”
