Value-added reseller Premier Solutions Group and voice and data provider ECOMM Networks have agreed to merge.

Both companies are based in Pennsylvania. In fact, Premier Solutions Group late last year sold its carrier-services arm to master agency MicroCorp. Now, by the end of the year, Premier Solutions and ECOMM should be fully integrated and operating under the PremierComm brand. For now, they have brought together the finance and human resources functions, with sales and operations to follow by December.

PremierComm will specialize in voice, data, IT, cloud and managed services, including SIP-hosted PBX, wireless, unified communications and virtualization. Executives further plan to launch a subsidiary called Cloud2Beam, focusing on cloud-based managed voice and IT. Meanwhile, Premier Solutions Group’s Daryl Heller will serve as chairman and CEO while ECOMM’s Gary Ritacco will take the role of president and COO.

Premier will bring Cisco products and a number of technical and professional certifications to the table. Those capabilities will be combined with ECOMM’s field services and relationships with Mitel and Avaya. All of that “will only create a stronger presence in advanced network communications,” Ritacco said in a prepared statement.

PremierComm will be headquartered in Lancaster, Penn.
