Primus Buys Remaining Interest in Globility
McLean, Va.-based Primus noted recent changes to Canadian law made its investment possible.

Primus Telecommunications Group Inc. on Tuesday announced acquiring the remaining 54.4 percent interest in Globility Communications Corp.
Primus now completely owns Globility, a Canadian competitive local exchange carrier.
McLean, Va.-based Primus noted recent changes to Canadian law made its investment possible.
Andrew Day, CEO of Primus North America, said the acquisition will enable Primus Canada “to grow its footprint for on-net Local, DSL and Ethernet services and to pursue expansion projects into the enterprise and government sectors that require low latency, high bandwidth routes on an all fibre network.”
