Speakeasy Expands Ethernet in Three Markets

Speakeasy expanded its business Ethernet service in three of its largest markets – Los Angeles, San Francisco and Washington DC. The expansion increases Ethernet coverage in both the Los Angeles and San Francisco markets by 50 percent and increases coverage by 20 percent in the D.C. area.

Speakeasy’s Business Ethernet is available in 40 markets, including Allentown, Atlanta, Austin, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Columbus, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Worth, Harrisburg, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Memphis, Miami, Minneapolis, Nashville, New Jersey, New York City, Oakland, Orlando, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Portland, Sacramento, St. Louis, Salt Lake City, San Antonio, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, Seattle/Tacoma, Tampa, Tempe and Washington DC.

Business Ethernet offers small business symmetrical broadband speeds of 3mbps, 5 mbps and 10mbps for transmission of large files, multimedia applications, VoIP, video as well as connecting remote workers, communication between offices (VPNs) and server/application hosting.

Speakeasy’s 3×3 Mbps Ethernet service starts at nearly the same price as a T1 but offers twice the bandwidth. All hardware is included.
