Star2Star Adds Managed Security Services
Products include firewall, antivirus and VPN.

CHANNEL PARTNERS Star2Star Communications (Booth 6011 and an Elite Sponsor) is adding managed security products to its lineup.
The Star2Star Security Suite includes managed firewall, gateway antivirus, VPN and firewall scanning, all of which work with Star2Stars next-generation StarBox IP communications appliance, due out later this year.
Star2Star said Security Suite’s features are as follows:
Managed Firewall: Provides remotely managed firewall protection;
Network Gateway Antivirus: Scans incoming data for malware, regardless of source and destination;
VPN: Provides both office-to-office and office-to-remote client modes; and
Firewall Scanning: Continual monitoring for unusual or suspicious data traffic.

The Security Suite will be available on a subscription basis to all Star2Star customers.
