Telarus Inc. (Booth #3025 at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo), a telecom master agent and patent holder of real-time carrier quotes, recently announced it has entered into an agreement with Broadview Networks (Booth #2010), a network-based communications provider serving small and medium-sized businesses in the Northeastern and Mid-Atlantic United States. The new opportunity will open the doors for Telarus agents to sell Broadview’s hosted IP phone service, voice, and data services.
“We are excited to have Broadview in our carrier portfolio,” said Lance Akins, VP of Telarus. “Broadview is well known for their quality of service, pricing, and commissions, but what makes them more attractive is their nationwide hosted IP solution, OfficeSuite. We are confident our agents will take advantage of this unique offering, enabling them to sell into an increased number of opportunities.”
In preparation for the launch, the Telarus IT team successfully integrated Broadview Networks products into GeoQuote, the real-time online quoting system used by Telarus agents to perform price and availability research on behalf of their clients. Those with access to GeoQuote now see pricing for Broadviews solutions including: data T1, bonded T1, integrated PRI, local voice, and more for locations within Broadviews footprint.
“Telarus and its agents have a solid reputation in the industry servicing businesses of all sizes and we’re pleased to have them onboard as an agent partner,” said Chris Eldredge, executive VP of Alternate Channels and Carrier Sales for Broadview Networks. “Broadview Networks enhances the Telarus offering with a comprehensive portfolio of customizable products, services and tools that provides companies with the total solution. Whether it’s our core voice or data services or next-generation solutions like OfficeSuite, MPLS, Ethernet enabled services or SIP trunking, Telarus can create real value by offering its agents a total solution.”
“Broadview’s patented hosted IP phone solution adds a unique value to our product mix,” added Adam Edwards, president of Telarus. “With the ability to efficiently move customers from one network to another, Broadview’s OfficeSuite services work seamlessly across multiple networks. This is one of the many reasons why Broadview’s products have such a strong reputation in the telecom industry, and why we look forward to selling it.”
